He is survived by: his children, Kim Ethridge (James) of Batesville, Len Purvis (Billy Whit) of Meridian, Scott Purvis of Memphis, TN and Jason Purvis (Rachel) of French Camp; and his brother Ray Purvis (Jane) of Leland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
