He is survived by: his sons, Larry Pate (Katie) of Fulton and Steven Pate (Nina) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Chad Pate (Lisa), Merrie Comer (Justin), Abby Julian (Tom) and Nick Pate (Valerie); and his great grandchildren, Addison Comer, Will Comer, Oliver Pate, Abram Pate, Thomas Julian, Arthur Julian, John Lloyd Julian, Isaac Julian, Ava Pate and Elleanor Pate.
