He was predeceased by: his parents, Reggie Lamar and Mittie Burton Byram Wood; and his sisters, Helen (Charlie Lofton), Peggy (Bob Hayes), Johnnie (Bill DeVaughn) and Gene Hamm.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Wood (Shannon) of Mooreville and Thomas Wood (Allison) of Mantachie; his grandchildren, Tyler Wood (Lexus), Clayton Wood (Anna Reed), Haylee Sheffield (Austin), Cassidy Wood (Christopher McCollum), Brooke Wood and Carly Wood; his great grandchildren, Paris Keith, Easton Wood, Olivia Wood, Piper Sheffield, Braelyn Wood, Isabella Wood and Dutton Sheffield; and his siblings, Dorothy "Dot" Wood and Ricky Wood (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home - Fulton (401 S Cummings St, Fulton, MS 38843). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
