It is with sadness that the passing of Irene Bennett of Fulton, Mississippi is shared. Irene, born on June 29, 1948, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Irsle Mills and Elvie Irene Pearce Mills; and her brothers-in-law, Sonny Whitten and Lawrence "Zip" Morris. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Bennett; her daughters, Christy Wheeler (Jaime) of Fulton and Stacy Dehart (Donald) of Collierville, TN; her sisters, Kathy Huling (Michael) of Fulton and Monica Morris of Fulton; her grandchildren, Drew Wheeler (Lindsey), Madison Hamm (Zack), Lauren Dehart and Matthew Wheeler; and her great grandchildren, Marshall Hamm and Elizabeth Hamm.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (1822 Mt Pleasant Rd, Fulton, MS 38843).
