She was predeceased by : her parents, Amos Whitten and Julia Whitten (Cason); her husband Edward Morris; her siblings, Lloyd Whitten, George Whitten, Edith Loague and Gladys Whitten; and her grandson Matthew Catalano.
She is survived by : her children, Debra Ransom of Murfreesboro, TN and Danny Morris (Ariane Amiri) of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Sarah Jane Easterly (Karl), Danielle Morris Holloway (Adam) and Luke Amiri Morris; and her great grandchildren, Edward Easterly and Zelda Holloway. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
