She was predeceased by : her parents, Lelon Pierce and Mamie Palmer Pierce; her son Karl Dale Hughes; and her siblings, Lewis Pierce, Jake Pierce, Thelma Scates and Elsie Spencer.
She is survived by : her sons, Kelby Hughes (Kay) of Fulton and Gary Hughes (Sandy) of Fulton; and her siblings, Jerry Pierce (Silvia) of Smithville and Eva Thomas of Fulton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
