Robert Tyre Gilliland Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Tyre Gilliland of Fulton, Mississippi, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Gilliland and Reba Tyre Gilliland; and his brother Jim Reed Gilliland. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gilliland; and his sister Emily Roberts (Elvis). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fulton Church of Christ (500 S Clifton St, Fulton, MS 38843).
