She was predeceased by: her parents, S. T. Rusoe and Ruby Underwood Rusoe; her husband Roy Junior Smith; her daughter Barbara Taylor Luker; her brother Richard "Beaver" Rusoe; her great grandchild Ava Hunt; her daughter-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Jane Smith; and her brother-in-law Joe Malone.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Pollock (John), Larry Smith, Billy Joe Smith (Janice) and Roger Smith (Mary); her sister Geneva Malone of Mantachie; and her grandchildren, Victoria Farquhar, Bartlet Pollock, Bridgett Capps, Matthew Smith, Jeremy Smith, Kellie Hunt, Victoria Eldridge, Seth Smith, Mason Smith, Hannah White, Katelyn Smith, Jorda Hoard and Laken Marie Sanders. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; numerous other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mantachie Methodist Church (5905 MS-363, Mantachie, MS 38855). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
