She was predeceased by: her father James "Jimmy" Allen King, Sr.; and her nephew Aaron Retherford Frye. She is survived by: her mother Cynthia "Cindy" Carroll King of Pascagoula, MS.; her siblings, Kelley King Frye (Craig) and James "Allen" King, Jr. (Michele); her nephews, Walker "Reid" Frye, Dallas, Paul Saunders Frye (Sara Grace Parker), Long Beach and James Allen "Jak" King, III; her niece Anna; her close friends, Scott and Christi Taylor; her nephews, Christian and Jackson Taylor; and her pet Kingston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Colleen to First Methodist Church of Pascagoula.
