It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Virginia Warner of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Charleston, Mississippi, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Ann Branch Goodwin and Namon Oscar Goodwin; and her brothers, Thomas Hughlee Goodwin, Roy Goodwin and Edwin Goodwin.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Warner; her nieces, Eleanor Jean Sells of Irvington, AL and Lynnette Childers (Vernon) of Edgefield, SC; her sisters, Annie Scallorn and Vivian Kathryn Ball; her stepsister Nannie Mae Alford; her niece Patricia Ball Byars; and her great-niece Alisha Groshog (Osborn).
