She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Lewis and Louise Lewis of Monticello, Mississippi.; and her siblings, Genevieve Thomas, Edgar Lewis Jr., Robert "Chuck" Lewis and Silas Lewis.
She is survived by : her husband Herman "Humbug" Wells; her daughters, Wendy Lewis of Gulfport, Kimberly Jackson (Carlos) of Oceanside, Jennifer Wells-Marshall (Nexton, III) of Auburn, Heather Brice (Jon) of Jackson and Ashley Wells of Birmingham, Alabama; and her sisters, Erlexia Johnson of Dayton and Betty Ann White of Tampa, Florida. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
