She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Jacobs; and her daughter Abbie Jacobs Thompson. She is survived by: her parents, Will Shelton and Abbie Shelton; her children, Nick Parker (Sharon) of Attica, MI, Mark Bradley Parker (Christine) of Gautier, MS. and Patricia "Tricia" Moriarty (John) of Wynne, Ark.; and her siblings, Boyd Shelton of Jonesboro Arkansas, Mavis Odell Shelton of Lafayette, LA and Nikki Shelton of Gautier, MS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great –grandchildren.
