It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Evelyn Pierson of Gautier, Mississippi, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Irvin James Ketland and Willie Catherine Ross Ketland; her husband Don Pierson; and her grandson Zachary Pierson. She is survived by : her children, Nancy Gulczynski (Chet), Jim Pierson (Deirdre), Lee Pierson (Bambi) and Linda Strunk (Shawn); her grandchildren, Ian, Tyler, Kristy and Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Valerie, Charlotte, Ashlynn, Aralin and Jennie.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made in her honor to The Pie Ladies at the United Methodist Church in Gautier, MS or the Jackson County Animal Shelter in Gautier, MS.
