Shelton George Cambre Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelton George Cambre of Gautier, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son John Stephen Cambre; and his brother Joseph Felix Cambre. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Alice; his siblings, Lorraine Robichaux and Milton Cambre (Kathleen); his children, Cynthia Claire Muirhead (Wayne), Leslie Ann Elliott (John), Daniel James Cambre (Andrea Pater) and Andrew George Cambre (Kerri Rigsby); his grandchildren, Drew Wesley Muirhead (Brittany Yates), Ross Cambre Muirhead (Hannah Steuber), Dr. John William Elliott (Meredith Lee) and Claire Cambre Grothe (Gabe); and his caregivers, Ashley, Latrese, Marina, Mary and Nadene.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (809 De La Pointe Dr, Gautier, MS 39553). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
