He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Frank McElroy and Peggy Jo McElroy (Walls); his grandparents, E. O. and Bessie Walls; and his son Arne Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer McElroy; his daughter Stephanie L. Gibbs (McElroy); his son-in-law Savon Gibbs; his stepdaughters, Tiffany M. Davis and Julie N. Johnson; his brothers, Jimmy D. McElroy and Johnny G. McElroy; his sister-in-law Paula Lacharite; his grandchildren, Mickenzi S. McGill, Sytianna M. Gibbs, Nevaeh E. Gibbs, Savon A. Gibbs Jr., Taelynn P. Delancey and Warren K. Delancey; his friends, Bud Mills, Todd West, Bobbi Bowman, Chris Crowley and Jeffrey Hovermale; and his pet Angel.
