She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Curtis Treherne and Robert E. Treherne; her former husband James Lee Hudson of Grand Bay; her husband Glendon J. Wright of Gautier; and her siblings, Art, Bobby Jeff, Carvel, Pat, Peggy, Elaine and Martha.
She is survived by: her children, James Leon Hudson (Jim), Vicki Hudson Merchent (Bob) and Theresa Hudson Bostwick; her grandchildren, Tiffany Bostwick Butler (Josh), Jacob Ryan Bostwick (Nikki), Ginny Hudson Stevenson (Michael), Jillian Jordan Mosley (Clint), Jessie Robert Jordan, Shelbie Hudson Jung (Connan), Molly Merchent and Katherine Merchent Johnson; and her brother Rev. John C. Treherne (Judy). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean Springs (911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Crestlawn Memorial Park (4111 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564).
In lieu of flowers, Virginia expressed appreciation for donations to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
