It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Edgar Lewis of Gautier, Mississippi, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Genevieve Lewis and George Lewis; and his brothers, George, Jr. and Robert Lewis. He is survived by : his sisters, Marie Carnes (Tom Williams) of Holden Beach, NC and Genevieve Lewis of Ocean Springs, MS.
