With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Smith of Georgetown, Mississippi, who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Smith and Mildred Good Smith; and his siblings, Danny Smith and Pamela Emfinger. He is survived by: his wife Rita Wilson Smith; his daughters, Missy Hazlewood (Chris) and Melody Nations (Codi); his siblings, Gail Conger (Karl), David Smith (Sherry) and Reggie Smith (Tootie); his siblings-in-law, Faye Smith and Malcolm Emfinger; and his grandchildren, Hope Hazlewood and Micheal Hazlewood.

The family request memorials be made in his name to Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery fund at 195 Hopewell Church Lane, Bude, MS 39630.
