Faye Ruth Stokes Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Faye Ruth Stokes of Glen Allan, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Faye Ruth Stokes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Preston Holley and Georgia Pauline Hatcher; her husband Donny Ray Stokes, Sr.; her daughters, Donna Stokes Harden and Tammy Stokes Brown (Ronny "R. B." Brown); and her siblings, James Holley, Harry Holley, Nellie Moore and Mark Cecil Holley.

She is survived by: her son Donny Ray Stokes, Jr. (Jenna) of Brandon, Mississippi; her sisters, Betty Carr of Gulfport, MS, Sue Pyles of McHenry, MS and Jackie Holley (Suzy) of Egypt; her grandchildren, Michael Gene Harden Jr. (Katie), Dustin Stokes Harden (Kelsey) and Madeline Swayze Stokes; her great grandchildren, Makinlee Kate Harden, Michael Hendrix Harden and Savannah Faye Harden; and her nephews, Danny Holley, James Holley Jr., Barry Oakes, Mark Oakes and Shorty Jones.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Lake Washington First Baptist.
