He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rowe Smith and Clara Havis Smith; his wife Brenda; and his siblings, Jeanette, Faye and James Lynn.
He is survived by: his sons, Marty (Kemmie) of Greenville, MS and Daniel (Rebecca) of Rogers, AR; and his grandchild Aubrey of Rogers, AR. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A procession was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Boone Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the County Line Cemetery.
