He is survived by: his parents, Lauren Knupp and Clay Knupp; his grandparents, Elizabeth Kelly, Neil Drysdale and Lesa Knupp; his aunts and uncles, Kandi Knupp, Breeze Knupp Davis (Matt), Melissa Knupp Walker (Matthew), Azlinn Beall and Zachariah Drysdale (Rachel); his grandfather Dale Knupp; his uncle Eli Knupp; and his cousin Michael Walker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ellis' honor to Heaven's Gains Ministries.
