He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Pinkston Dale; his sons, Daniel Anthony Dale, Jr. (Katie) and Dr. Wood Whittington Dale (Kelly); his grandchildren, Daniel Anthony Dale III, Katharine Maree Dale and Wood Whittington Dale II; his brother James Yeager Dale of Greenwood; his stepsister Penny Sanders Varner of Vicksburg; and his sibling's children, Ellen Dale O'neal (Kenny) of Madison, Kathryn Dale Roland (Sessions) of Madison, Mary Dabney Dale Goldbeck of Starkville and James Yeager Dale, Jr. (Lauren) of Greenwood. He is also survived by nieces, step nephews, and cousins.
