She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Brown and Mae W. Brown; her husband Aurelious McClain; and her brothers, McArthur McKnight, Jackie Brown and Donald McKnight.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McClain, Sr. (Cassandra) and Jasmine McClain; her stepchildren, Angela Davis and Aurelious Davis; her siblings, Mattie Monroe, Augustine Brown, Teria Porter, Rosa Brown (Roddis) and Harry Brown (Alice); her grandchildren, Darian McClain, Jordan McClain, Michael McClain, Jr. and Ebonie McClain; her sisters-in-law, Helen Walker, Gloria McClain and Joyce McKnight; and her aunts, Mammie Lee Brown and Winnie Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
