She is survived by : her son Darrell Bateman (Angie); her grandsons, Darcy Brant Bateman and Hunter Bateman; her great grandchildren, Bryce and BrookLynn Bateman; and her siblings, Alverine Coleman, Harvey Whittington, Sarah McNabb and Gussie Stokes. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
