He is survived by: his son Dustin Mitchell (Anna); his granddaughter Evelyn Mitchell; his daughter Renae Dixon (James); and his sisters, Debbie Walters (Mike), Beth Pendergraft, Wendy Thibodeaux and Laurel Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
