John left this world on December 2, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther A. Honea and Louise Honea (Norris); and his wife Myra L. Honea. He is survived by: his son Jonathan Honea; and his siblings, Patsy Carraway, Archie Honea, Dennis Honea (Patsy) and Terry Honea (Rita). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (901 S Captain Gloster Dr, Gloster, MS 39638). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
