It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Santella of Gloster, Mississippi, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Matthew Montour and Theresa Jasinsky; and his adoptive parents, John Santella and Audrey Santella. He is survived by : his wife Cynthia Diane Santella; his stepdaughter Sandy Whittington Rushing (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Amber Rushing Longmire, Emily Rushing, Mollee Kayte Rushing and Jake Rushing. He is also survived by thirteen brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

He died due post Covid lung issues.
