We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2023, at the age of 82, Roy McKey (Gloster, Mississippi), born in Liberty, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack McKey, Sr. and Maude Beasley McKey; his wife Sarah Whittington McKey; his stepmother Hilda Whittington Hathaway McKey; his granddaughter Leslie Powell Henry; and his siblings, Ivey Louis McKey, Mavis McKey Foreman, Norma Jean McKey Etheridge, Clinton Morris Hathaway and Bobby Joe McKey.

He is survived by : his daughter Carolyn Rene McKey Colson; his grandsons, Jonathan, Jason Douqet and Greg McKey (Mary McKey); his great grandchildren, Dencil Powell III, Jennifer McKey Eccles and Ashley McKey Nettles; and his siblings, Peggy Hathaway Rushing Jones, Janies Hathaway of Jack McKey, JR., Jerry McKey and Terry Wayne McKey.
