He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dauzat and Betty Dauzat. He is survived by: his wife Melissa "Missy" Patton Dauzat; his son Joseph "Caleb" Dauzat; his brother Wayne Dauzat (Michele) of Homer, Louisiana; and his close friend Kevin Aime. He is also survived by relatives by marriage, distant relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Gideons International to help provide Bibles and spread the message of faith.
