Though Alton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malachi Alderman and Lottie Wiltshire Alderman; and his siblings, Dorothy Grantham and Hollis Alderman. He is survived by: his wife Ida Alderman of Greenwood; his sons, Larry Alderman (Elizabeth) of Greenwood and Steve Alderman (Lynn) of Madison; and his grandchildren, Ashton Wilson (Chris) of Greenwood, Avery Alderman (Thomas Williamson) of Germantown, TN, Gray Alderman of Spring Hill, TN and Will Alderman of Cleveland. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
