It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Alderman in Golden, Mississippi, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie C. Dunn and Madie Jones Dunn; her husband Alton Alderman of Greenwood; and her siblings, Grace Tice, Alonzo Dunn, Henry Allen Dunn (Pat), Annie Acy, Floy Ellis and Winnie Holman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bess Norville and Edward Dunn (Zeke); her sons, Larry Alderman (Elizabeth) of Greenwood and Steve Alderman (MS) of Madison; and her grandchildren, Ashton Wilson (Chris) of Greenwood, Avery Alderman (Thomas Williamson) of Germantown, TN, Gray Alderman of Spring Hill, TN and Will Alderman of Cleveland, MS. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
