She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mike Gibson; her grandsons, Jesse Everett, John-Micheal and Jase Cooper; her children, Chrystee Hamilton (Jeff), Ron Gibson (Regan), Hillary Thompson, Ashley McQuary (Parker) and Joseph Gibson; her grandchildren, Trystan Hamilton, Laury Beth Lamb (Micheal), Scott Hamilton (Dallyn), Landon, Emma, Laura, Eli, Anna, Kate, Seth, Sydney, Harley Gibson and Blaise Gibson; her great grandchild Hollyn Lamb; her sisters, Genie Barnes, Angela Breland and Betty Jean Burton; and her parents, J. C. Simon and Jimmie Dee Simon.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
