He was predeceased by: his parents, Rube Ben Berry and Lizzie O'bannon Bailey Berry; and his siblings, Lillie Dobbs, Lillian Haake, Arthur Berry, Leon "Red" Berry of Thomas Samuel, Juanita Atkison, Laura Justice, Gladys Shipley, Vera White, Vivian Stewart, Dewery Ross Berry, Nathan Berry and Loyd Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Davis Berry of Greenville; his children, Rhonda "Bob" Jones of Greenville and Lawrence Berry of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Josh Carver (Moriah), Matt Jones (Mary Margaret) and Ashley Pellum (Ryan). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
