He was predeceased by: his parents, David Joseph and Elizabeth Alice Potin; his brother Richard; and his daughter Beth Potin Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Cara Louise Potin; his daughters, Michelle Moore (Melvin) and Amy Azar (Chris); his grandchildren, Faith Gilreath (Pierson), Hope Lee (Hunter), Arthur, Goldie Azar and Mel Moore (Autumn); and his great grandchildren, Abby, Ben Moore and Daisy Lee.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (443 Redbud St, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Cemetery (1000 S Main St, Greenville, MS 38701).
