She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Lee Pittman and Lucille Pittman Mayfield; and her brother Hubert Lee Pittman, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Hugh Gamble II; her children, Katherine Gamble Boozer (Corey) and Hugh Gamble III (Meredith); and her grandchildren, Leanna Boozer, Lauren Boozer and Hugh Gamble, IV.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dawn's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
