He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Berry Clark and Lillie Gray Smith Clark; his children, Dennis Dewitt Clark II and Deborah Denise Clark; and his brothers, Darrell Childress, Douglas Childress, Delbert Childress and Dorice Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Lorette Clark; his children, Lisa Ward, Dawn Wylie and Donnie Clark; and his sister Peggy Holmes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
