He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray Sandifer and Frances Younger Sandifer Nerren. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ferretti Sandifer; his children, James W. Sandifer, Jr. (Jessica) of Belzoni and Landi Sandifer Mohamed (Lance) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Kaylin Lloyd, Ann Elise Sandifer, Nora James Sandifer, Sarah Morgan Sandifer, William Ollie Mohamed and Mary Landi Mohamed; and his sisters, Jane Nerren Pratt (James) of Signal Mountain, TN and Elizabeth Nerren Halbrook of Greenville.
