It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lane Steed (Greenville, Mississippi), born in Indianola, Mississippi, who passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ezell Steed and Jewel Amanda Reid Steed; his siblings, Herman "Sonny" Steed, Randy Steed and Carolyn Coleman; and his nephew Mitch Mitchell.

He is survived by: his spouses, Jacqueline Charlene Steed and Charlene Tindall Steed; his children, Brad Kellum (Bennette) and Ashley Campbell; his grandchildren, Hudson Steed, Parker Steed, Skylar Steed, Kinsey Melancon, Bailey Kellum, Evan Kellum, Macie Kellum, Landon Griffith, Ayden Hughes, Ava Hughes, Luke Poe, Lane Poe, Camp Campbell and Farah Bates Campbell; his siblings, Ellen Steed Mitchell (Billy), Melvin Steed and Carl Ray Steed; Park Kellum, Jay Steed, Jr. (Lindsey), Jason Campbell (Ashton) and Rebecca Steed Poe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In memory of Mr. Steed, the family requests donations made to The American Cancer Society and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
