He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wilburn and Billie Opal Collum Gentry. He is survived by: his son John William Gentry Jr. (Tabetha) of Leland, MS; his sister Julia Gentry Glenn of Fulton, MS; his grandchildren, Jackson Collum Gentry of Leland, Charles Peyton Ponder of Plainfield, IN and Skylar Mackenzie Gentry (Jacob) of Waynesboro, MS; and his nieces, Amanda and Amy.
