He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Oberle and Helen Johannes Oberle; his wife Myrle Janelle Grimsley; his grandson Adam Tuck; and his brothers, Don and Fran.

He is survived by : his children, Teresa McGee, Cindy Tuck (Terry), Susan Evans (Robert), Danny Oberle (Charisse), Kathy Dunavant (Paul) and Stephanie Rester (Hugh); his grandchildren, Carlisle McGee (Korie), Todd McGee (Lauren), Matthew Tuck, Elizabeth Ann Wood (William), Robert Evans (Abby), Rob Dunavant, Daniel Dunavant (Brooke), Ann Kathryn Crawford (Marshall), Raines Rester (Lea Merrill Pugh), Jacob Rester and Alex Rester; his great grandchildren, Emma Kate McGee, Mason McGee, Hayes McGee, Christopher Wood, Grant Wood, Pierce Dunavant, Hampton Dunavant and Holloway Crawford; and his grandchildren, Bella Rester, Riley Evans and Natchez Oberle. He is also survived by two Sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of ﬂowers, memorials may be made to Camp Looking Glass, John 3:16 Ministries or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
