She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Pickett Smith and Susie Clarkson Smith; and her sisters, Margaret Ann Darnell and Eunice Louise Speed. She is survived by: her children, Kay Newsom (Sam) of Greenville and Park Neff (Sharon) of Arcola; her great grandchildren, Sam, Mia, John Edward Newsom, John Day Stewart, Lawson, Cannon, Hadley Williams, Linton, Logan Carson and Matthew McWilliams; and her brother Charles Smith (Linda) of Marks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
