Nathan Ulysses Peacock Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 93, Nathan Ulysses Peacock of Greenville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George Peacock; his former wife Mary Louise of Indianola, MS; his granddaughter Angela Ward; his mother Lottie; and his siblings, Nelson Peacock, Inez Williams, Heloise Johnson, Geordie Peacock and Angelo Peacock.
He is survived by: his wife Lottie Pearson Peacock; his children, Nathan (late Allison Peacock) of Suwanee, GA, Sharon (late Mark Jones) of Ocean Springs, MS, Donna Adams of Lake Village, AR, Lisa Ward (Win) of Natchez, MS and David (late Heidi Peacock) of Lexington, SC; and his grandchildren, Mandi Fair (Justin), Mary Kathryn Kight (Jimmy), Andrew Adams (Jordan), David Michael Peacock, Jr., Catherine Anne Peacock, Rebecca Peacock, Coulter Ward, John Elliott Ward, Matthew Jones (Olivia), Stuart Jones (Frankie) and Stacey Laughlin (Kyle). He is also survived by 16 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (412 Main St, Greenville, MS 38701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Indianola City Cemetery. Encouraged by his wife and family, Nathan joined the Roman Catholic Church at age 70 and assisted the priest during daily Mass until Covid.
