Ruby Slade Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 30, 2026, Ruby Slade of Greenville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Slade of Gene's Saw Shop; her daughter Wanda; her parents, Virgle Swindle and Lexie Swindle; and her siblings, Clovis, Rayford, James and Francis.
She is survived by: her children, Malcolm Slade (Anita), Guy Slade (Melissa) and Laura Rawson (Lloyd); her grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Alexis, Hope, Erin, Kristen, Beth and LeeAnn; and her sister Zelma. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
