Wendell Powell Hoyle Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 96, Wendell Powell Hoyle (Greenville, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Sue Hough Hoyle; his daughter Donna Sue Fellows; and his siblings, Jimmy Hoyle, David Hoyle and Gladys Bellamy.
He is survived by: his daughter Celeste Hoyle DeAngelo (Ricky); and his grandchildren, J. D. Fellows, Nathan Fellows, Angel Reed (Jake), Kristen Swafford (Hunter), Olivia Bradberry (Jason), Carter DeAngelo (Lucy) and Jacqueline Fellows. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (407 Main St, Greenville, MS 38701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church Friends of Music Program.
