It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Pittman Barry of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Gilmore and Mary Knight Pittman; and her daughter Debbie Barry Montgomery. She is survived by : her spouse W. Sullivan Barry; her daughters, Marguerite Richter (Ricky) of Knoxville, TN and Shannon Ola (Anthony) of Greenwood, MS; her sister Marilyn Bell (Phillip) of Boerne, TX; her grandchildren, Ashley Myrick, Barry Ainsworth, Ali Williams (Chase), Shelby Cottrell (Kevin), Taylor Richter, Anthony Ola (Skyler) and Mary Kathryn O'Dell (Brantley); her great grandchildren, Bailey O'Dell, MacKenzie Ainsworth, Thomas Wade Ainsworth, Gage, Mary Presley, Sulli Grace Williams, Marissa, Cheyenne, Gracie Cottrell, Alex Richter and Revan Martell; her great great grandchild William O'Dell; and her friends, Gay McCain, Susan Scott Blasingame and Jo Boswell Flautt.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Episcopal Church (400 Howard St, Greenwood, MS 38930).
