It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Carpenter of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Brenda has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Carpenter. She is survived by: her father James Carpenter; her brother Scott Carpenter (Patty); and her sibling's children, Sara Eason (John) and John Patrick Carpenter (Rachael).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenwood Delta Funeral Home (1008 Sgt John Pittman Dr, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Park Church of God of Prophecy (705 Yalobusha St, Greenwood, MS 38930).
