He was predeceased by: his parents, James Danehower and Marie Danehower; and his siblings, Mary Varvil and Ronnie Danehower. He is survived by: his family Derrick Simpson; his wife Brenda Danehower; his brother Jerry Danehower (Sandra); his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Bourne (Claudia) and Suzanne Cockrum (Bob); and his pet Tara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Odd Fellows East Cemetery (1635 Carrollton Ave, Greenwood, MS 38930).
