David Elmore Obituary
We announce the death of David Elmore of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 71. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Elmore and Jessie Elmore; and his brothers, Daniel Shurden Elmore and Ronald Leon Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Phillis Alderman Elmore; his son David William Alexander Elmore of Madison; his stepdaughter Pamela Gregg Horne (Joey) of Sidon; his brother Ralph Elmore (Missy) of Brandon; his mother-in-law Eula Alderman of Greenwood; and his sister-in-law Marie Elmore of Carrollton. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Greenwood Lefore Humane Society or the charity of donor's choice.
