He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cunningham Morgan Jr. and Sara Elizabeth Simmons Morgan (Betty) of Greenwood, MS; and his sister Sara Alice Morgan Ratcliff (Sally) of Canton, MS.. He is survived by: his wife Theresa McNeer Morgan of Madison, MS; his children, David Higdon Morgan Jr. (Bailey) of Starkville, MS and Anna Morgan Sims (Brady) of Greenwood, MS.; his grandchildren, Sara Frances Sims and John Thomas Sims of Greenwood, MS.; his siblings, James Cunningham Morgan (Buddy) and Jean Morgan Bush (Glenn) of Jackson, MS; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Ratcliff of Canton, MS, Etta McNeer Sanderson-Koury (Philip) of Madison, MS and Mary Frances McNeer Thetford (Pat) of Mt. Brook, AL.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
