With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Gillon Britt of Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on May 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rayford Gillon and Annie Marie Speight Gillon; her brother D. R. "Bud" Gillon, Jr.; her husband Horace E. Britt, Jr.; and her daughter Denise Marie Britt.
She is survived by: her children, David Britt and Debbie Wells (Bobby); and her grandchildren, Daphne Britt, Eli Britt, Chris Wells (Darlin), Robyn Wells and Gillon Higginbotham (Keeton). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. John's Methodist Church in honor of Jo Ann's deep love for her church family.
